Clarion Hotel & Conference Center Ronkonkoma

Featuring a scenic outdoor pool, our stay was a refreshing break from the daily grind. Surrounded by lush greenery, floating lazily in the water felt like a scene from a tropical paradise, with the added bonus of a delightful poolside cocktail.

Shower took long to get hot.

The hotel is conveniently located near the LIRR Ronkonkoma station and Islip airport, making it easy to reach. There are also several restaurants close by. the rooms come with comfortable beds and basic amenities.

Everything was perfect and fairly clean, I loved stuff and location. The room was brand-new on the first floor and had a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, coffee/tea makers and a seating area.

The entrance and front desk experience need improvement. Stairs to the second level are not ideal for those with mobility issues. The back area feels unsafe and unstaffed. The corridors to the rooms are eerie. Noise from outside disturbed sleep. Not worth staying again.

Breakfast was delicious, staff was courteous. Beds were exceptionally comfortable, rooms were non-smoking, neat. The area was great, a perfect place for me. Loved dining at Hero Express, set within 5 minutes' walk.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the free local cable TV in the room, providing a nice option for relaxing. The location near the airport was a plus, allowing us to enjoy watching planes fly overhead while lounging at the pool. The lifeguard at the pool was fantastic with the kids.

The cable network had a great selection of channels to choose from. Felix at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He took care of a small issue in the room and even went out of his way to print us a map of the area using GoogleMaps. His helpfulness stood out amongst the rest of the staff who were rather rude. Felix made our stay a pleasant one.
